E-Learning for Teachers

E-learning for teachers in the world today is crucial. So in these challenging times we anticipate that schools will look different in the fall. Therefore, my goal is to support your learning with tips and templates, websites and articles that will encourage your growth.

Your Mindset is VERY Important

FIRST: THESE THREE STEPS BELOW

teachers

Step One: First, Be patient with yourself! The world of technology is vast and ever-changing. Understand that no one’s bag of teaching tools is ever full or perfect.

Step Two: Trial and error is the key. Remember you are beginning a new adventure and experimentation is the way to begin.

Step Three: Keep things simple and focused. You do not need to learn or master everything in a day. When you feel overwhelmed, it is time to take a break and do a reset!

So with the positive mindset, let’s get started! The first resource is a google site that I created. It is a nine week course for Ninth graders on writing skills. However, it was meant to be delivered synchronously and asynchronously. I am hoping this will help give you an idea of what the structure of an e-learning class might look like. Also, it consists of modules to be completed by the students and assessed by the teacher

The second resource I created on Weebly. This second resource contains a information for teachers who want to learning more about creating a collaborative digital classroom. This site contains many online resources for you to explore as well.

Let’s look at what else is out there for teachers!
