The Process for Using the Cards
It is important to follow a few simple procedures whether you are using these cards for your own insight and growth or if you are assisting another.
Bless the cards and perform a centering prayer prior to selecting a card. You or whomever you maybe working with must hold the deck in their hands, so that your or their energy envelopes the cards. As you do so, meditate upon a question or situation that is on your mind. You may articulate the question aloud, or merely focus upon it as the saints will know your need.
Be clear about what answers or insights you are seeking. Remember that these cards are not for fortune-telling, but rather to connect you with your higher self and the Divine Source for your growth. When you are ready, choose one card from the deck and refer to the Guidebook for the response from the saint who seeks to communicate with you. The deeper you are in a meditative state, the closer the saint can be drawn to you.
Three Card Spread
If you wish, you may perform a three-card spread using the first card as the message that most relates to your present. Next select another card and place it to the right of that card. The second card brings you a message from a past situation that will somehow connect or give you insight into your present situation or question. Lastly draw a card and place it to the left of your first card. The third card will shed light upon the energy that you may need to be aware of going forward into the future.
