I am involved in the study of metaphysics and have been for many years. The blending of science and spirit has been a struggle for humankind down through the ages. Now I believe as humans we are moving closer to the wedding of science and spirit through the increasing awareness of EMF studies. Fear of the unknown has always been a stumbling block for the development of our innate spiritual gifts and talents. But now we no longer ignore the door that is open to a world that understands and values the integration of science and spirituality.
I have always loved to collect and wear jewelry! Finding beautiful gem stones and crystals is definitely a hobby of mine. At first I was just attracted to the color or sparkle of the stone. But when I became interested in metaphysics I realized that each gem or crystal has its own unique energy. It intrigues me so much that I research the various gem stones and crystals. At the same time I am acutely aware of my own gifts and talents. I am able to see auras which prompted me to begin studying energy fields even further. I use the stones in meditation for healing as well as wearing them on my person as jewelry. The gems, stones and crystals assist my attempts at balancing my energy. While I was unaware of the scientific aspect of how the stones helped me, I absolutely knew they did!
Merging the Concepts

The Electromagnetic Spectrum is made up of EM waves also referred to as EMF. These waves are composed of oscillating magnetic and electric fields. This is why they are called ‘electromagnetic’ waves. The electromagnetic spectrum is ordered by a frequency which is the number of wavelengths that pass a fixed point per second. The electromagnetic spectrum contains radio waves, microwaves, light,x-rays, gamma rays, and more. If you look closely you can see that this spectrum mirrors the metaphysical concept of auras and chakras.

The seven chakras are the main energy centers of the body. You’ve probably heard people talk about “unblocking” their chakras, which refers to the idea that when all of our chakras are open, energy can run through them freely, and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit.
