Wolf, Teacher, Pathfinder, Moon-dog of my soul. Howling, Singing, Teaching how to know.”

Above is a quote from the book about the card. The book gives wonderful background about how Native Americans viewed wolf down through the ages. The key word for “wolf” is TEACHER. For example, the wolf baying at the moon (which is the symbol of psychic knowledge) indicates its search for new ideas, These new ideas sit just beneath one’s level of consciousness. Wolf medicine inspires the teacher in us. We are to share our knowledge and wisdom with others. Or we are to discover it in ourselves.
